This privacy policy explains how dontcallit.si handles information when you read our articles, view our illustrations, download documents, or contact the editorial team. It covers this website, not the independent websites linked in our articles. Last updated: October 3, 2026.
You can read the site without creating an account or providing a name or email address. The site offers an optional email contact form. It does not currently offer public accounts, comments, or newsletter subscriptions.
Information collected when you visit.
Like other hosted websites, this site uses servers that receive technical information needed to deliver pages and protect the service. Hosting and security logs may include an IP address, the date and time, the requested page or file, browser and device information, referring pages, and error or security events.
We use this information to operate the site, understand basic traffic, diagnose problems, and detect abuse. An IP address in a hosting log is technical visit data; it is not published as part of an article or a visitor profile.
Information you choose to send.
If you use the contact form, we receive your name or pen name, email address, answers to the satirical questions, message, and any source link you choose to include. The form sends those details to comeonman@dontcallit.si. It does not create a separate Elementor submissions archive or add you to a mailing list. If you email directly, we also receive any attachments and technical information supplied by the email service. Please send only the information needed for your question, correction, or source suggestion.
We use correspondence to respond, check factual claims, and maintain editorial records. We do not publish a correspondent’s private contact details or reproduce a private message without permission, unless disclosure is legally required.
Cookies, fonts, and tracking.
WordPress and our hosting services may use essential cookies for administration, security, or other requested functions. Administrator sign-in uses authentication cookies. A reader does not need to sign in. You can manage or block cookies in your browser, although blocking essential cookies may affect those functions.
We do not currently run advertising pixels or cross-site behavioral tracking. Some page layouts load fonts through Google Fonts. When your browser requests those fonts, Google receives the IP address and technical request information needed to deliver them. Google’s own privacy policy applies to that processing.
Service providers and outside links.
The site is hosted by Hostinger and built with WordPress and Elementor. Hosting, security, backup, and email providers may process information needed to supply their services. Information may be processed in countries where those providers operate, subject to their applicable privacy terms and safeguards.
Articles link to source documents and other websites. Following an outside link takes you to a service with its own privacy practices. Our illustrations and document previews are hosted on this site; an external link does not make that outside service part of this privacy policy.
How information is shared.
We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We may share information with service providers when needed to operate the site, with your permission, or when necessary to comply with law, respond to a valid legal request, investigate abuse, or protect rights and security.
Retention and security.
We keep correspondence only as long as needed to respond, maintain relevant editorial records, or meet legal obligations. Hosting logs, email records, and backups follow the retention schedules and controls of the services that hold them. Copies in backups may remain until those backups expire.
We use reasonable security measures, including encrypted website connections and restricted administrative access. No website, email service, or storage system can guarantee complete security.
Your choices and privacy requests.
You may browse without contacting us, limit cookies through your browser, and avoid following outside links. Depending on the law that applies, you may also have rights to request access, correction, deletion, or restrictions on the use of your personal information.

Children and changes to this policy.
This is a political commentary and satire site for a general adult audience. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us so we can address it.
We will update this notice if our contact method, services, or data practices change. The date above identifies the latest revision.
